IDW Announces Hiring of John Barber as New Senior Editor

A little over a month after IDW Publishing's Senior Editor Andy Schmidt left the company for a new job at Hasbro, Inc., the comic book company announced today that they have hired John Barber as a new Senior Editor. The former editor at Marvel for six years, Mr. Barber's freelance Transformers titles include the Transformers Dark of the Moon movie adaptation and Transformers #125 with James Roche. �This is a great opportunity. I was perfectly content living the freelance life, but when the possibility of joining the IDW editorial team came up, I jumped at the chance," said Mr. Barber.
