Thanks to Ebay seller crazyforfigure2010 who has posted an auction about the previously reported new Transformers Happy Meal toys that will be coming to McDonald;s. The auction show images of ROTF versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron that look to be fairly detailed for Happy Meal toys. Read the Full News Story Here

Whew. If they're non-transforming, that means I won't feel like I'm missing out on anything. McDonalds possibly avoided, diet saved!

So McDonalds finally caved on their stance against toys for PG13 rated movies. Guess we know who's getting the TF3 license.

Those are pretty decent. I like figurines. It's a shame though, the Beast era Happy Meal toys were great. None have really been that great since then.

This story doesn't feel right to me. Licensing issues aside, why release movie toys in the limbo between theatrical releases when they've got a new cartoon to promote this month? Never mind these toys don't actually transform and McDonald's toys traditionally have or the fact that the Prime toy looks suspiciously like the ROTF BK Prime toy right down to the holes in the chest for the Jetfire parts to peg into.

 

I'm not accusing anyone of anything and if these toys are genuine then they're a big disappointment. All I'm saying is this smells a little fishy. Guess we'll see....
