Thanks to ACToys member "," we have three new looks at the upcoming Transformers Reveal the Shield Legends Generation 1 Starscream. The figure is part of the first wave of legends figures in the new Reveal the Shield line, which will succeed the Hunt For the Decepticons campaign. The wave will be available in November 2010. Can't wait to get this guy and the rest of the Legends coming out.

Looks like Legends Starscream will have a completely new transformation. His arms transform into his jet boosters (which would be his legs in Classics/G1 Starscream). Looks cool though, hopefully the finalized/retail version will have a painted head.

You can probably color the helmet easily with a simple black marker.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when I say this figure. thuogh a marker could case you to write on something you don't want to. Maybe use a pen? :shrug

If you mean like a standard writing pen, the ink wouldn't adhere to the plastic. It'd just wipe right off. If using something like a Sharpie, it'll rub off, too, but it'll stay on for a few days at least. Depends on how often it's played with.

Paint marker, or paint pen would be best bet...but if you don't want to paint, I wouldn't be surprised if the Reprolabel folks is hammering something out.

Yes, use a paint marker OR get some acrylic paint and a brush. Games Workshop or the Testors Model Magic are usually the most regarded, but for something this simple, the acrylic paints in the hobby section of Walmart or any craft store would suffice.

It still sucks if we have to paint it's head at all. We shouldn't have to do that. The official images released by Hasbro had a painted head on Starscream. If it's released unpainted, it's almost as if it's released unfinished.

To be honest,I think the head is a bit of a "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" kind of thing. While it does look unfinished, if Hasbro had painted the head / cast in black plastic, I'm sure we'd end up getting folks complaining about it breaking up the color flow on the nosecone in vehicle mode. :shrug
