First Look at Transformers Voyager Payload

Remember the repaint of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Long Haul in Generation 2 colors that we saw a little while back? Well, it turns out that he's getting renamed, too. Thanks to "stryker" of ACToys, we have an in-package shot of the figure, which is now named Payload. The figure, like Battle Ops Bumblebee and Seaspray, sports the new look for the line by dropping the Revenge of the Fallen name. A second image shows off Seaspray on the package of Payload, indicating that they will be part of the same wave.

It should have been painted orange and blue as an homage to the G1 Throttlebot named Wideload. Heck, Wideload even has arms that are formed from the sides of his truck mode, which match the arm kibble of this toy.

Ah, we're so hard to please. We get mad when we don't get Constructicon colors and we get mad when we do.

 

huh?

 

the first mold of this figure was a constructicon color.

 

i don't really like this.

 

i wonder if renaming the line means hasbro will think they can get away with more repaints than usual.
