Have you seen it? There is a news story going around that originated with a caption contest at AOLs gear blog Engadget calling it a "clothes dryer." Its about a Taiwanese man who has built a 14 foot replica of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime out of junk. What is so amazing about this video? We don't know. Get a look at the video and be owned too. Read the Full News Story Here

Wow. That's... Large and... metal and... yeah.

This man needs a GF, or at least a copy of World of Warcraft.

I wouldn't rag on the guy. It's real raw, but thats still alot of work, so good for him.

As for it being news, well, if Dakota Fannings new make over can make it, why not this?

"The only amazing thing about it. Is its being reported as news."

"Seriously, this is a pretty lame story."

um. aren't you reporting this as news?

Ours is not to reason why, just report the facts and cry.

why are you guys ragging on this guy who made something huge and cool with his hands? if you guys think that collecting toys will get you girls versus creating something you are sadly mistaken. i know its not extremely news worthy, but hey Taiwan has slow news days too. is this site run by pre-pubescents or what?

Well, the basis of my "ragging" stems from my opinion that while huge the cool is debatable. I'm sure the thing was hard work and stemmed from a great deal of passion, but the result is kind of ugly. IMO.

Just cuz you bust your hump on something doesn't mean anyone else has to like it.
